How Christian Women Should Treat Their Natural Hair

We have received several emails requesting how godly women should treat their natural hair. This prompted the reason why we decide to diverge deeper into women artificial hair dressing and attachment. We felt; the perfect way to portray this godly ways of how Christian women should treat their natural hair is to first address the ungodliness involved in artificial hair dressing.
However; while debating on this issue, it was revealed that majority of Christian women are still clamoring for artificial hair and attachment. Therefore, the best way to commence the message is to settled every disputes that might stood against below godly principles in which Christian women ought to portray or treat their natural hair.
Nevertheless; this messages is primarily focused on the basic needs and reason why artificial hair and attachment ought to be abhorred by christian women. It was bridge in 4 different categories and today we are going to look insightful at the last step which involved how Christian women should treat their natural hair.
- The Mystery And Origin Of Artificial Hair And women Attachment.
- Divine Revelation Of Artificial Hair And Punishment Of Women.
- Artificial Hair Dressing To Be Avoided In Life Of Christian Women.
- How Christian Women Should Treat Their Natural Hair.
In our society; women are mostly deceived due to fragility tense of their heart. After the creation of man, God behold the incomplete nature of man, thereby providing him with a help-meet. Man possessed what is known as stony heart while woman heart is pierced with a hole. These two hearts are joined together in marriage to meet the needs of one another.
Scriptural, women are tag as a weaker vessel not because of their lone-rib but rather because the nature of their heart, resulting to their inability to retain burden of life in marriage. Whenever problems emerges in the family you will behold the man handling things with ease while the woman will agitated and will be seen running helter and skater seeking for solution.
However; due to the fragility nature of women heart they can be easily lured into deception. They love fashion, beauty; for this purpose many of them are been deceived by their pastor due to wrong notion on outward modesty. In fact, due to their uttermost desire for fashionistas, they can forfeit food for the sake of fashion, beauty and hair dressing because of the nature of their heart.

As a genuine Christian woman; there must be a renewing of your heart because you are a new creation in Christ. Hence, your outward appearance must conform to godliness in your heart. But if your heart become filled with lustful desire of fashionistas or tends to admire those that portrayed in ungodly attire, it simply means you are not yet a Born Again but rather still dwelling in the old nature of your heart.
However, dressing modesty is an epitome of godliness and your inward thoughts also has to be nurture in godliness; because if you tend to dress in modesty apparel while sinfulness (lies, hates, fornication, malice etc) still occupy your heart, my beloved that is the highest degree of self deception.
In fact, some Christian often felt that modesty dressing is all about looking sensual, gorgeous or classic---No, dressing modesty is a resemblance or replica of what proceedeth inwardly from your heart.
The act of dressing modesty is the finished work of God’s grace in your life because “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16”
The letter of Apostle Paul to young bishop Timothy while proving how the women ought to portrayed themselves by looking exceptional from the world, he emphasize; In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array, 1 Timothy 2:9"
Hence, this scripture has been misinterpreted by perverse preachers and also by some Christian. They assumed the scripture instructed them to dress or wore whatsoever seen befitting to them without considering the basic needs of comparing the scriptures with others.
Comparing Scripture With Scripture
When studying the Bible, we must compare Scripture with Scripture, "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line: here a little and there a little" Isaiah 28:10. We must remember that the Bible is not one book but 66 books written over a period of 1500 years. That very fact allows us to use the Bible to interpret itself. When we do this, we will discover truth.
You don’t take just a scripture and run with it. Every scripture has its own reason and it needs and none of it shall fall wasteful. The scripture is not alone. There is another scripture that speak of that scripture to make it clear--to show that in the mouth of two or three witnesses.
As we study the Bible, we need to approach it with an open mind, willing to follow what it shows us. "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself" John 7:17.
God does not desire us to be ignorant. He has caused His Word to be written so that anyone can understand it if they want to. When studying prophecy, the Bible is its own interpreter, giving definitions for the symbols it uses. We don't need to guess or make wild assumptions.
Using All The Bible Reference
We must not ignore parts of the Bible that don't suit us, or discard portions of the Bible as not applicable, or add our own words to it. If we come across a text that seems to contradict other texts, we can safely assume that we do not have a complete understanding of the doctrine that is being studied. Reading the text in context is important. But equally important is to look at the verse in context with all other verses on the same subject.
God's Word never changes, and certainly never contradicts itself. If we believe this, then we can have parameters for interpreting Scripture. God cannot lie. If He says one thing in one part of the Bible, He cannot be saying something else elsewhere. Only one understanding can be the right one.
As you open up your mind to the Word of God, be sure to ask God for His Spirit to enlighten you as you study. With an earnest willing heart, free of fixed ideas and interpretations, God can and will show you the true understanding of what you are studying.
Let Go Back To That Scripture
1 Timothy 2:9 "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array”
Likewise I want women to adorn themselves. Now, he wants women to adorn themselves. OK? So adornment is not bad. Now let’s go on. He says “I want women to adorn themselves with modesty apparel.” That means; there is clothing that is “improper” for Christian women to wear.

Now he says the clothing must be “modest” and not sexual aroused or draw attention to your body or make it notice. Therefore, there is difference between modesty and sensuality. You must look modestly in discretion and not in sensuality, luxury and extravagance.

Let continues; I want woman to adorn themselves in modest apparel and not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array” So, in this context, the Christians women were commanded not to focused in worldly beautification or wasting their time in plaiting of hair but rather let the fearfulness of God in their heart be seen outwardly. Such fearful should associates with righteousness and good deeds and not focusing primarily in body decoration.

However; let compare this scriptures to Apostle Peter letter to the brethren “Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands, I Peter 3:3-5.
In conclusion, we can behold a clearer picture of what every godly woman ought to portray. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes,
But rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands"
How Christian Women Should Treat Their Natural Hair
Every godly woman must leave their hair in natural state. Scriptural; they are obligated to work in godliness and be filled with the fruits of the Holy Ghost. Their mindset shouldn’t focus on perishable things of life but rather on incorruptible things---pursuit of eternal resource, purity and zeal of making Heaven.

However; there is also need to treat and takes proper care of the hair. The hair must be in good health in order to avoid been infested by lice and unpleasant odor because cleanness is next to godliness. We are going to look insightful into different steps on how Christian women should treat their natural hair. In this context we are going to bridges it into 3 different categories.
- Hair Washing Treatment.
- Hair Stylish And Plaiting.
- Hair Covering And Application.
Women Natural Hair Treatment
1. Hair Washing Treatment: There is need to wash the natural hair once or twice a week with either antiseptic soap or fruit shampoo. Thereafter, you may apply natural contents such as olive oil, avocado oil, honey or lemons and allow for about some minutes and re-wash then braid it naturally without application of any artificial material.

If your hair is very strong, you may apply those natural elements to help soften the hair before plaiting or weaving. However, while treating your natural hair, you must NOT apply relaxer or any chemical that might change the natural state, texture, flexibility, or the original form of the hair.

Likewise also, you must NOT apply dyeing or bleaching detergents or hair oils or lotions that might change the natural coloring of the hair----in addition, every form of hair curling must be avoided as a Christian woman because God is perfect in his creation and you must present your entire body in natural being as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable before God.
2. Natural Hair Styling And Plaiting: You can weave your natural hair--weaving simply means, inter-lacing or plaiting your hair naturally WITHOUT the aid of artificial materials such as wool, thread, robber or adding wigs and perming.

Hence, you ought to plait or braid your hair with same natural content of your hair by inter-lacing or locking it together. Furthermore, while plaiting your natural hair, it should be done moderately without ungodly thoughts of pride or for the purpose of showing-off the newly hair styles.
Nevertheless, while plaiting your natural hair, ensure you don’t plait ungodly or elaborate hairstyles such as afro, dreadlocks etc. Furthermore, adding beads, pearls, fancy ribbon and wigs has to be avoided. Moreover, plaiting your hair shouldn’t take the place of God in your life.

Plaiting your natural hair or beautifying must NOT be seen as a MUST for which you can do without--thereby, spending unnecessary hours in hair beautification while you can’t even spend about 2-3 hours before the Lord in prayer or in church fellowship.
Plaiting your natural hair or beautifying must NOT be seen as a MUST for which you can do without--thereby, spending unnecessary hours in hair beautification while you can’t even spend about 2-3 hours before the Lord in prayer or in church fellowship.
Likewise also, lusting or craving to acquired the natural hair of European, America or Asian women or admiring the artificial or false hairdo of sinners and compromisers has to be avoided as a Christian.

Romans 1: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” Lastly, you might also decide to cut your hair by always going on low-cut in order to free yourself from self bondage of hair treatment.

3. Hair Covering In The Church And Application: There is need to covered your head as Christian woman while praying or in presence of the Lord. Sometimes ago, a Christian sister from Japan affirm that most of American, European  and Asian Christian women didn't covered their hair while in church—thereby, ignorantly serving God under the anger of God. This is a sinful attitude which has disqualified prayers of my Christian women due to disobedient.

1 Corinthians 11:5-15 "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6; For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 13; Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? 14; Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15; But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering"
Some Christian women believed, there is no need to cover their head due to their long natural hair which serves as sources of covering to their head. My beloved; curse is upon any woman that prays with her hair uncovered, and nothing cursed shall by any means enter the Kingdom of God.
Therefore, it’s high time we stopped looking for excuses and reasons to continue living under condemnation. Verse 5; But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. This verse is talking about when a woman wants to pray, her hair should be covered.

However, long hair is a woman's glory and but as a covering in Verse 15; But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering” has nothing to do when a woman is praying. Long hair is a woman's glory and given to her as a covering when she is at home, or going out and not as a covering when she is praying or while in the church or before the presence of the Most High;  that is an abominable thing for the eyes of the Lord to behold.
For Apostle Paul expected our understanding to open when he asks, "Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?  Any preacher can say anything he or she likes towards these verses but then, what has it got to change before God?
Important Of Hair Covering Outisde Spiritual Circle
The scripture compel we should always pray without ceasing and to be watchful as a discipline soldier of Christ. You never can tell the day of your visitation and that is reason you must be watchful and be in great expectation, so as not to be taken unaware because the days are evil.

However, it’s appropriate for Christian to always cover their head for their own goodness either while walking on the street, going to the market or while on a journey or trip. Hence, during such delicate period, you might encounter sudden scene that required immediate interceding prayers---at that moment, where are you going to find scarf to cover your hair before praying unto God?
In summary, a woman may choose to leave her hair uncovered while at home or while taking a walk on the street or even in the market, because her long her is a covering to her shameful skull but please not while praying unto God, whether long or short, black or white.

As a Christian woman, God expect your hair to be covered while interceding or making supplication unto him. However, any woman praying to God with her hair uncovered is number one accusation of devil against her prayers before God.

Why Women Don't Cover Their Hair In The Church
The major reason why most Christian women don’t approve the biblical doctrine of hair covering while in the church is probably due to their elaborate and expenses hair styles. In fact; how does it sound, can a woman who spent about $300 dollars on hair frying and attachment cover it in the church?

Today, modern church has become an entertainment and fashion parade industry. Where women purposely came to the church in order to show-fort the latest reigning hairstyles, shoes, makes-ups, attachment, trousers (pant), artificial nails and clothes. While the men are not left behind, as they also gives in into seductive spirit in admiring and lusting after the serpentine artificial hair beauty and fashion of women.
In conclusion on these messages---all the evidence which biblical condemned this ungodly act has been proven, including various divine revelation and warning. Therefore, it high time you sacrifice whatsoever that might thwart and stained your glorious garments. Hence, if you can't run—please ensure you keep walking.

And if you can't walk—keep crawling. If you can't crawl just keep moving toward perfection and never hearken unto perverse teachers and pastors. You need to work out your salvation with fear and trembling because faith without work is dead; yet you are save by grace but been perfected by work.
